I have decided to move back the release date for Pudsey Retail to achieve a few new goals

  • Increased Search Engine position
  • Better content/interactive features
  • Better galleries

I have a couple of quick updates to post here about PudseyRetail:

  • The website is set for release on the 15th January
  • Our shop directory is majority complete now after using Google Maps to track down and locate most businesses
  • I have setup a basic page “about Pudsey” that contains some information – majority taken from Wikipedia
  • In the last few days leading up to Pudsey Retail I will be implementing a design change – The reasoning for this is simply that the current design is a little dark whereas I wish for Pudseys appearance to be bright and cheery
  • The transport section is now coming into place with information on buses, trains and parking in Pudsey – areas will be missing/incomplete when the website goes live

Well, christmas eve has finally arrived n what better way to celebrate than to release a new blog and fresh look to the blog.

Myself and my girlfriend have brainstormed some magnificent ideas for the Pudsey Retail project including:

  • Interactive online map (Powered by Google, what else?)
  • Shop coupons/offers
  • Print friendly map
  • Shop directory

Plus more… I’ll keep this blog updated as and when.

Well, this probably will be my last blog entry until after xmas – hope everyone has a merry xmas and a happy new year!

To everybody reading this, I wish you all a merry xmas and a happy new year! We’re only 5 days away from the big man diving down our chimneys and a white christmas is looking good!

I have a few projects lined up for the new year including Pudsey Retail, Achieving Together and finally cementing in the final blocks to complete the Sweet Memories website… More info will be available early January! I’m also going to be looking at seperating this blog from my website to focus on larger areas of web development and design. If anybody is interested in joining me in this venture feel free to drop me a message and we’ll have a chat!
